The Wizard of Oz needs no introduction. This well known classic story gives us Dorothy, which goes on an adventure in a fantasy world that children from all over the world have enjoyed as they grew up. Countless movies, games and cartoons have been made based on this story, and quite a few slots as well. The graphics look like they're cartoon like, but some of them appear like they're taken directly from the original movie, though in color. Among the symbols which you will recognize in this game there is Dorothy, a Jackpot symbol, the Feature symbol, the game logo, the three companions of Dorothy, a pair of shoes, a witch, a cat, a hot air balloon, Dorothy's house and the tornado that took it away.

Once you decide to place a bet there are two decisions to make in this game. The first one is about the number of paylines which should be activated in it, while the second one is about the bet used on each line. The value of the line bet is anywhere between $0.01 and $5, with up to 30 lines that can be activated. The maximum bet is worth $150 here, with top payouts of 10,000 coins or $50,000 possible.

The Jackpot symbol is the one that will impress the player and will award the top jackpot. Five symbols with it are required for that to happen, and they have to be on an active payline.

The wild symbol also has its own payouts, but they're considerably smaller than the top jackpot. On its own, the wild substitutes for other symbols and it helps them create combinations. It doesn't work with the top jackpot combination though and it also doesn't work with the Feature symbol.

Another part of the game is Glinda, a good witch which sometimes appears and gives the player at random as many as five wild reels.

The Feature symbol has to appear at least three times during the same round for its abilities to be triggered. When that happens, the player gets the option to make a pick and he gets either a cash prize, access to the bonus round Road to Emerald City or to the Wing Monkey round.

It's a fun game and if you're a fan of Dorothy's story you will have fun playing it and maybe even winning its jackpot.
