Space Invasion's 3 reels with a single payline on them makes this slot a classic design. The developer is Amaya, and they've decided to include in this game a $20,000 top prize, plus multipliers and wild symbols as major features.
Amaya has a good record when it comes to the design of classic slots, generally offering graphics which are a notch above what most other companies manage to give. Their games look less like the classic slots that you would find in an arcade, and more like a game which is in the 21st century. The century might not be the right one with this game though, with its futuristic looking graphics, aliens and space ships suggesting that we're a few centuries into the future. The player is in the pilot's seat, in a small spaceship, looking at Earth (on the left side) and at the Moon (right side).
The game's logo is placed at the top, in the middle between the two celestial bodies, and in the middle of the pilot's screen you will find the game reels. Besides the symbols which appear on it, the reels have on their sides some green icons, suggesting that they're the pilot's displays. Various dials and displays are seen in the cockpit, with options to Bet and to change the bet value in the middle. The picture wouldn't be complete without the Galaxy Gulp juice, and the joysticks which the pilot uses to control the ship. Overall, it's a definitely good looking design, and it's getting some help from the symbols as well, which include the WIN logo, three types of alien monsters (looking friendly) and three types of planets with rings (red, green and blue).
Three coins constitute the maximum bet in Space Invasion, with coin values of $5 at their highest, meaning that the most you can wager is $15. As for the top jackpot, it's a 4,000 coin prize, with a value of $20,000 if the coin was worth $5.
The WIN symbol is the must get feature of the slot, offering the top jackpot if there are three of them on the payline, and acting as a wild the rest of the time. That's not the only thing it will do for the player though. It will also give him a multiplier of 2x for one wild being present in a new combo, and 4x if two wilds brought their contribution.
It's one of those games that are fun, and at the same time profitable enough to be worth playing even if you're not usually into the theme that the game has.
