This luxurious slot has an aristocratic theme, with the king's crown being the main symbol used in the game, but also the decoration used on the bright red background, in a manner similar to wallpaper. The Grand Crown logo, with the big gold crown in it, is located at the bottom left side of the screen. The game's options and buttons are placed at the bottom of the screen, while the paytable occupies the right side and the reels are in the top left side. Symbols use images of the Grand Crown, plus a diamond, a gold star, a golden triple 7, single and double Bar symbols and a cherry.

Each payline of the game gets only one coin, and each one has a bigger potential payout. The maximum bet of 5 coins, of $10 each, is $50, while the top jackpot is 10,000 coins, or $100,000.

Since each payline has its own top jackpot, for the same combination of three Grand Crown symbols, you need the combo to be on the right payline (the fifth one) if you want the biggest prize possible. Otherwise, the prize is a lot lower, offering 1000 coins for the three symbols on the fourth payline, 900 coins for the third, 800 coins for the second and 500 coins for the first payline. The difference between the fifth and the fourth paylines payout is huge, ten times lower for the fourth, and even lower for the rest, so the game doesn't offer the player that great a chance to get rich.

There is also quite a bit of difference in payouts between the Grand Crown combination and the rest of the payouts from the paytable. The three diamond combo pays 100 coins, while the stars pay 40 coins, the triple 7's pay 20 coins and the double Bar symbols pay 10 coins. The last two symbols pay for fewer than three symbols, 4 coins for two single bar symbols, and 2 coins for one cherry symbol.

The Grand Crown symbol is a wild as well, which has a 2x multiplier, so when it substitutes for another symbol, it doubles the payout.

Grand Crown, while using luxurious elements in its design, does not feel that well made. The $100,000 top jackpot is always a good way to get a player to try the game though, even if the graphics are not necessarily an attraction.
