Star Trek Episode 6 – Trek Through Time

Star Trek Episode 6 – Trek Through Time is a WMS slot with 5 reels and 25 paylines. The game provides scatter symbols, wilds and payouts of up to $4,000.

This is the sixth and latest episode from the series of slots built on top of the original Star Trek series, and they've all been created by WMS. They've created an entire slot series with these titles, offering the player to advance through these slots and to keep experiencing new adventures. Each new slot from the Star Trek series has symbols that are slightly different or completely new and they also have new bonus rounds which are built around the title of the game. The symbols offered in this game start with the usual insignia, plus the pictures of Spock and Kirk (different from the ones from previous episodes though), Dr. McCoy, pictures with asteroids, planets, probes, Klingon Birds of Prey and USS Enterprise.

The game gives the player directly the option of the total bet he can use, so there is no fiddling with the dials here. You get a Stake line, which the player can use to adjust the level of the bet. The wager goes up to $70 and it includes wagers of $2 per line (25 lines) plus a $20 feature bet. The top payout offered here will award the player $4,000.

The combination of symbols which gives the player this big prize is the same one as in the previous five episodes and it is comprised of five icons with the insignia of Starfleet on them.

The other symbol that's been consistent throughout the entire series of slots is the wild, which is always the logo of the game with the ship next to it. It's a typical wild, which will substitute for all other regular symbols and as always the exception is the Feature symbol.

The Feature symbol is a scatter feature in this game, meaning that it can appear in any position and it can trigger the bonus round. The name of the game's bonus round is “Vortex" and 3+ symbols will be enough to start it. With 4+ symbols, the player will also get payouts of $250 or $2,500.

The entire series of Star Trek slots are very well made and the design is consistent throughout the six titles. Definitely give it a shot if Star Trek is something that interests you, the guys from WMS have done a great job.
