In Royal Chess, you get to play a slot that is themed around chess, as you would expect from the title. The reels have a chess table in the background, while the symbols which are used are a combination of playing cards and chess pieces of different types. The playing cards are those from 9 to Ace, and they are the ones that have the bigger prizes, which is not exactly logical in a game about chess. The chess pieces are the ones that have smaller values attached, and among them you will find images of the tower, the knight and the horse. The king and the queen chess pieces are used as the special symbols.

Each of the game's 9 paylines can get between 1 and 10 coins, which are valued at $0.10 each. The maximum bet of 90 coins has a value of $9, while the top jackpot is 10,000x the line bet for most bets, with the exception of the maximum bet, which awards 20,000x the line bet.
