Art Heist, the second episode in the Reel Crime slot series, has 5 reels and 15 paylines, and it was designed by the guys from Rival Gaming. The slot's features give players scatters, wilds, free spins and multipliers, while the top jackpot is $18,750.
With this second slot from the series of Reel Crime slots, Rival moves the topic from bank robberies to art heists and forgeries. The game is just as entertaining as the first slot, but it's mostly redesigned, having little in common with the first title. Most of the symbols used are designed to look like paintings, some of them being well known art pieces, while others are forgeries with the head of the character replaced with that of the thief. One of the more important symbols of the game is the one with the forger himself, the picture taken while he's in full creative process, working on one of his forgeries. There are four scatter symbols as well, each one with a different original masterpiece, including Mona Lisa, the Judges, the Scream and The Duke. The game logo and the Robin Hood symbols are both bonus round triggers, for two different games. As for the regular symbols, these consist of six forged paintings, where the original head of a character is replaced with that of the forger, and they are Remy Bandit, The Diners, The Nudes, Raoul Bandit, Raoul Thinker and Remy Thinker.
Once the player decides to place a wager on this slot, he has a few choices to make, like the number of coins to use per payline (1 to 5), the value per coin ($0.01 to $0.50) or the number of paylines he wants to bet on (1 to 15). The maximum bet uses 75 coins, and it's worth $37.50. As for the maximum prize that can be won, it's 7500 coins, or $18,750.
If there is one thing that this game isn't lacking, that's symbols with special roles. We'll start with the wild symbol, which takes the place of other symbols when it can create a new winning combo. It's not as useful as you might think, at least in this case, mostly because there are so many special symbols that they make up half of the possible icons. Only the six regular symbols are replaceable with a wild.
The scatter symbols, while there are quite a few of them (four), don't do anything special, other than award prizes when a certain minimum number of them shows up.
It's a great game, with lots of features and an incredible number of scatters, wilds and bonus symbols, so just like with the first episode, I'd recommend you try it out for yourself.
