The second edition of Oh My Gods is a slightly modified version of the first one, with the only difference being the number of reels and paylines. You get 6 reels instead of 9 and 5 paylines instead of 10. In every other way it seems to be the same game where the design is concerned. Most of the symbols appearing here haven't changed a bit, so they look just as dated and crude as in the previous title. The reels and the symbols do look bigger on the main screen though, since there are fewer of them and they're not as crammed. Once again the focus is on the deities of the Ancient Greece and we get three of them here. Since the combinations go up to 5 symbols and there are 6 reels here, they can form either on reels 1 to 5 or on reels 2 to 6. It's an unusual way to play a game, but it's not necessarily bad. Among the symbols that will appear on the reels there is Zeus, Poseidon, Aphrodite, a messenger, laurels, olive oil amphora and the grape.

In typical 36Gaming fashion you get to activate every single bet line in the slot with a single coin and adding more of them will simply increase all the line bets. You start with one coin valued between $0.01 and $0.50 and you can increase the number up to 16, with the maximum bet worth $8. The value of the jackpot goes up to 500x, or 8000 coins while the value is up to $4,000. A progressive jackpot is the alternative to the regular prize.

Just as it happened in the first edition, you are able to win the progressive jackpot by using the maximum bet and getting the combination of five Zeus symbols. If the bet is not at its highest value the prize will be worth only 500x the line wager.

It's difficult to understand why 36Gaming felt the need to create a second version of Oh My Gods but then do little to update or change the game. There is little to get worked up over here by this slot.
