The lottery is used as the theme for this slot, and since it's another game which involves luck, it's a good fit with a slot machine. It will do so for any of the regular symbols in the game, but it will not help with the bonus or the scatter symbols. The same symbol is the one that gives away the top jackpot, a 2000x multiple of the line wager, and for that to happen the player needs five of these symbols to be on the same payline.

The scatter symbol also gives away prizes, only here it's a multiple of the total bet made, not of the line bet. You get 5x the bet if there are three scatters on the reels, 10x if there are four, and 50x the bet if there are five of them present.

Finally, we also get the Lucky Wheel, a bonus round triggered by the symbol with the same name. For this round to trigger, the symbol in question has to show up at the same time on the first and the last reel. The bonus game consists of a wheel of fortune, with two numbers on each section.
