The horse race is the chosen theme for this game, with the background image being the green race track, while the reels, which take up a huge part of the screen, have the symbols that are mostly related or themed around the races. The playing symbols, which are present in this game as well, are between 9 and A, and they are colored differently and placed on the race track. The rest of the symbols include a man that is attending the race, a woman that is doing the same, the jokey on the horse, the board with the odds for each horse, the wild symbol with the horseshoe, the sleeping horse and Tic Tac Charlie. The last three symbols are the ones that have the special roles in the game.
The normal top jackpot of the game is $10,000, or 200 coins at $50 each, which is their maximum value. The prize can go even higher, to $20,000, but only with the help of a wild symbol, which has a 2x multiplier. The smallest possible value for one coin is $0.25. The game's largest wager is $1,000, if all twenty paylines get the maximum bet.
You need the symbol with the gentleman to appear on all five positions of one of the active paylines, if you want to get that top jackpot. 200 coins are awarded if that happens, which can mean up to $10,000, with the maximum coin value. The coin can be set to a smaller value though, so the top prize can just as easily be $50, with $0.25 coins into play.
The wild symbol, the one with the horseshoe, will double the value of the combinations it helps form by substituting for other symbols, so it's a great symbol to get, no matter what combination is being made.
The scatter symbol, with the jokey and the horse that have fallen asleep at the start line, give out both free spins and prizes, which are multiples for the total bet that was made. Three to five of these scatters will get the player a cash prize of 2x to 10x the bet made, plus 15 to 25 spins for free.
It's a decent looking game, a good choice for someone that enjoys going to the race track and placing a wager on a horse. It's not as much fun for someone that has no interest in horse races though.
