Under The Sea is an ocean themed game from 1x2Gaming. It has a 5 reel/3 row layout with 25 paylines and includes a jackpot pay of $1,000. The features offered include both free games and wild symbols as well as scatter.

As it usually happens with ocean themed slots, the action takes place at the bottom of the sea, the game giving you the chance to see what kind of animal and plant life exists there. On the reels there are a lot more creatures though, including sea shells of different types, seahorse, crabs, fish, turtles, playing cards, starfish and some underwater plants.

The $62.50 value of the maximum wager covers not only the 25 lines available in this game, but also the use of up to 5 coins on each one. They get to that value by using coins of $0.50, though it’s something you can reduce to as little as $0.01. The number of coins and lines are also subject to change, should the player want to work on them. A total of 125 coins can be used, while the jackpot is at 2,000 coins ($1,000).

The Turtle symbol, seen from above, acts as a scatter feature. Whenever you get at least three symbols of this kind in any position, you will be rewarded with free games that have multipliers at x2. The minimum number of turtles (3) will get you 5 spins, while four will award 10 spins and five turtles come with 15 spins. The same scatter symbols can give prizes, but only if they show up on a payline like regular symbols. In that case, they can offer up to 1,000x in prizes.

The Mixed Seafood feature involves the use of multiple edible creatures on the same payline. You need a mix of oysters, crabs and whelk on a line to get a prize at 150x. If you get only crabs on the win line, the reward varies between 30x and 200x.

The Oscar Fish, a cutie with white and orange colors, will act as the wild and that’s why it can substitute for other symbols. It is not capable of substituting for symbols with turtles or crabs on it.

Despite the relatively low prizes, I’d say that it’s one of the better games from 1x2Gaming, at least from the overall experience point of view.
