Smileys is a slot themed around smiley faces, with a design that could do with a bit more work. The game has a few different smiley faces at the top, right next to the multi-colored logo. The background is blue, with a lot of smiley faces on it, and the reels of the slot are kept very simple. The game's main symbol is the sun with the smiley face, the second one being a devil smiley face. There are three additional symbols in the game, all of them smiley faces colored with green, pink and blue.
The game's bets use coins of $0.02 to $0.10, with up to three of them used on the game's only payline. The maximum bet is $0.30 and the biggest possible jackpot is 1500 coins, which means up to $150.
Smileys doesn't make all the symbols available for all possible bets. You get extra winning combos unlocked once you bet at least 2 coins, and the prizes get bigger for those extra combos once you bet 3 coins.
With one coin wagered, the player only gets access to the three simple smiley faces, colored with green, pink and blue. They award between 20 and 60 coins, and they give out the same prize even if you decide to increase the size of the bet, to 2 or 3 coins.
When you do wager at least two coins, you get access to additional winning combinations. The two coin bet awards 500 coins if you get the three sun smiley symbols and 150 coins for three devil smiley symbols. With three coins, those two winning combinations offer 1500 coins (sun) and 300 coins (devils). While these symbols and their payouts are unlocked for a minimum of two coins, they still appear on the reels during one coin bets. It doesn't seem like a very profitable slot because of that, but at least there is a very limited number of symbols (only 5), which should mean that there is a better chance of getting a winning combo formed.
Those that want to give this game a try have the option to set it on AutoPlay if they want to, so it will play on its own until you stop it, or until it runs out of money.
It's not that great of a game, the design is lacking and it doesn't seem like it's that profitable either, but if you believe you might enjoy it, give it a go.
