The game is special in a couple of different ways, besides being the only slot that I know of which has a focus on the rhino. One of the things that sets it apart is its use of 3 and 5 symbol reels. The first and the last reel each have three positions for the reels, while the ones from the middle have five symbols each one. The second thing that is somewhat different about this slot (though not unique) it’s the ways to win system, with the 1125 different possible combinations that may be formed here. The game makes use heavily of the card symbols, the kind that has no connection to the theme from the design point of view. You will also find some nicely made symbols which are connected to the theme, including the rhinoceros as the wild, the hippopotamus, the giraffe, the wildebeest, a pair of rhinos as a scatter and an antelope. In the background image you will find a view of Africa, a green land with beautiful trees, so obviously not in the areas that are scorched because of the heat.

Because of the ways to win system, the player doesn’t place a wager on individual paylines, using instead a single 50 coin base bet on all of them. The option still exists to bet multiple coins per line, and here it works by allowing for multiples of 50 to be wagered, up to 500 coins. The top coin value being $0.20, the maximum bet will be $100. The way the prizes are awarded is also different here, giving the player multiples of the bet per reel on the paytable. The maximum prize of 300x means a prize of up to $6,000.

First of all, we have the wild symbol, the rhino. Its presence will be noticed only on reels 2 through 5, but when it does make an appearance, it can be a grand one, since it’s a stacked symbol which basically gives multiple wilds at the same time.

The scatter symbol is the second symbol in Rhino which you will love to see, since it triggers a 15 Free Spins round. The trigger is the appearance of three scatters, on the last three reels of the game.

Rhino is lots of fun, and has some nice imagery included in it. If it wasn’t for the numerous card symbols, it would’ve been even better.
