Party Night is themed around a night out with the guys, drinking beer and eating fast food. If you start looking at it from the top, your first impression will be a good one thanks to the banner which looks modern and is a nice mix of orange, yellow and black. Look down to the reels though, and you will be unpleasantly surprised by the cartoon style graphics chosen for the symbols. The drawing style used is very basic, almost looking like it was done by some random guy with no design experience. While you will get immediately what the symbol is supposed to show, it's not going to be pretty. These symbols have on them images of champagne, two guys having a wild night, a couple dancing, a symbol where someone seems to be slipping a pill in someone's drink, party hat, pizza, a bowl of punch, a six pack of beer, chips and dip and a sandwich.
Thanks to the relatively large number of paylines and to the fact that up to 3 coins can be used on each one, the wagers can get to a decent size despite the fact that their maximum value is $0.50. The maximum wager with all 50 lines selected is $75. There is a 30,000 coins top jackpot on the line, with the value going up to $15,000.
The two big features of the slot are party related, with the wild giving us an image of two guys having fun in a club. This wild symbol can substitute for the various symbols in the game, the usual exception being the scatter symbol. The wild is also the one that awards the top jackpot of the game. For that to happen, a combination with five wild symbols needs to show up on an active line.
The other major feature is the usual scatter symbol, which has the image of a bottle of champagne here. It will award the player free spins if a minimum of two symbols of this type are present in any position in the game. Since most slots give players free spins starting with 3 scatter symbols, the fact that this one does it at 2 scatters sounds great. The player gets between 5 and 20 spins for free, depending on how many scatters were present.
It's an OK game as far as features are concerned, especially because of the free spins, but it fails in the graphics department. If graphics are not important to you, give it a shot.
