As I've mentioned before, you get a Wild diamond symbol in this game. One of its main functions is that of the top jackpot symbol, giving the player 2500 times what he wagered on that payline, if he manages to get five identical wild symbols on it. Its other function is that of a substitute for the regular symbols (as long as they are not playing cards), while also doubling payouts it contributes to. Since only three of the eight regular symbols can be substituted by the wild, its usefulness is quite limited.
The scatter symbol, with the dynamite sticks, gets the player some extra prizes, between double the amounts wagered (for 2 scatters) and 100 times the wager (for five scatters). Scatter symbols may appear anywhere on the reels of the slot, as long as they are present at the same time.
Diamond Mine, while using a limited wild and asking for huge bets in exchange for its $62,500 prize, can be a fun slot to play.
