Gas or gamble? Economy forces some to choose

Gas or gamble? Economy forces some to choose
By Gary Stoller, USA TODAY
Carlos Bueno and his wife, Mayra, drove three times last year from their home in Houston to a casino in Lake Charles, La., but they won't be making the two-hour drive this summer.

not only have we not made our annual trips to the casino an hour and 45 mis away, I have cut back to about $50 a month for online gambling. It's sad when a tank that could once be filled with $35 now costs almost $100 to fill and 150 gallons of heating oil that once cost about $250 now runs almost $600. Someone really needs to do something about these prices.
