Thread: Poker Bots

I had a couple of bad beats over the weekend and I'm convinced that I was playing against a Bot. One hand I had A-K and the flop was A-K-9. so I bet big the guy calls, turn was a 4, I bet again, the guy calls, the river card was a 2, I bet, he calls, the guy turns over 2 2's and wins with 3 of a kind. Who in their right mind keeps caling big bets with a pair of 2's?

I've been reading alot about poker bots and I think they are more prevailant than people think. Just my opinion.

that would explain what seems to be retarded (sorry -mentally challenged) players that seem to call with garbage and catch some miracle card on the river. Happens to me all the time - you may be right about the bots! The site administrator at another forum I'm in has said she's personally seen programs in action. She also mentions that some sites make extra sure that it doesn't happen on thier sites. PM me if you want to know more. The site she specified has been very good to me - no retards winning with garbage hands on the river. I have made over $150 in freerolls and small private tournys there.

Your example actually would tend to indicate you were playing a stupid human, a bot is ususally programed to play pretty tight poker
