| Prism is a #$@!%*&^#@!!! joke
I had what I would consider to be a rather unique experience with Prism casino yesterday. Originally, I was just going to pass it off, but the more I thought about it, the more I felt it should be shared. I was working when I received a phone call from support at Prism. She advised me that an E-check deposit I attempted to make last week appeared to be declined, but they received the funds, so my casino account was credited for the amount of 50.00. So, right out of the gate, 50.00 out of my checking account that should be in my account, but it only gets better. When I logged into my casino account, SURPRISE!! my balance was, you guessed it...... 0.00. I logged off, and attempted to sign in again. Now my account is locked! I attempted to call support on the phone, but after being on hold for 20 mins. I gave up. Sent an e mail, and now it gets even better. After waiting for 5 hours I got a response. It asked, what is your username? I sent reply with my username. The next reply I got said you need to send original message with username, because your original message was deleted. So I sent the original message once again. This is the response I got: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "prism" <prism@prismcasino.com> Add to Address Book Add Mobile Alert To: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Subject: Re: When you were offline (via LivePerson) Date: Fri, 24 Feb 2006 21:45:30 -0600 XXXXX, Your account has been closed because you have never made a deposit with us and you have redeemed over $100 in free chips in our casino. If you can prove that a deposit to us went through, by sending us a bank statement or confirmation number of the deposit, we will reopen your account and credit it accordingly. Until then your account will remain closed. First of all, they called me in reference to my deposit, I did not call them. I wanted to check my banking history to see when the deposit was submitted, but they convienently made it impossible to do by locking my account. Another thing, I was not aware that cashing free chips required a future deposit to be made. Maybe I missed the fine, fine print, but I don't think so. And finally, if I was really a retard, and wanted to deposit to Prism, well you can't deposit into a locked account. Basically, they denied my deposit, took the 50.00 and said F_ you to me. Lets hear it for customer service. |

This does seem quite odd. Can you confirm the funds were sent to prism and even more how did they get there if you didnt send them?

| Found it!
Unaware that I actually had 2 accounts with Prism, the funds were deposited into one account, but credited to the other. It's still kind of odd how this could happen, and not be caught. I deposited to the account that I was currently using, and maybe because it was a duplicate account, the deposit response came back that the deposit was rejected. At the same time, the funds were credited to my original user account, which I didn't even know existed at the present time. (So many casinos, so few braincells!). The frusterating part of the whole ordeal was Prisms lack of support, and how quick they were to shoot me down and offer no assistance what so ever. The mistake was only found with the help of an admin. of another online forum. For me they did nothing. For him they found the goof. Thought I would let you know the outcome, Chip.
