I've had a bad experience signing up for this. I made my $25 deposit at Poker Host as required. I was to receive a T-shirt and 5 tourney bucks for use in their GSP Sit-and-go's. The idea is you earn additional tourney bucks for winning these sit-and-go's, and once you earn a certain amount, you're eligible to play in the final event.
I've yet to receive my tourney bucks or t-shirt; it's been over a month since I made my deposit. I've contacted both GSP and Poker Host; I was informed that since I'd already opened an account with Poker Host, that I was not eligible to receive the tourney bucks. What really makes me angry about this is that I e-mailed them prior to making my deposit about this same issue. "Would I be able to sign up for the offer if I already had an account with Poker Host?" They never told me I'd be inelligible, so I assumed there wouldn't be a problem. Boy was I wrong.
Avoid this promotion like the plague! lol
