I have always wondered why the pay lines in online slots games and I suppose this would apply to traditional land based casino slots games to pay from left to right. I don't beleive I've ever seen a game that pays from right to left.

Is the consistency in slots paying left to right something that slots manufactures do to keep things the same for players so as to not confuse anyone?

Anyways it is not actually a big deal however I've always wondered this and wanted to know from people here on the message board whether there's actually a reason for this.
