Rival Gaming is one of the newest firms to enter the competition in the casino software industry. This software offers great technology and some unique things to honour their name as they know they need to offer something special to find a niche in this crowded business to overcome competition. Due to this, their software was developed carefully and apparently it is appealing as some casinos have switched to this platform.
Perhaps what is remarkable about Rival is that they only entered the market in 2006. That is ages away from the rest of its competitors, however, they have managed to catch up in technology and have already licensed 20 casinos. Even though this may seem like a small number, it is impressive for the time Rival has been in the industry and some of their partners are quite big names.
Apart from that, they have an edge in accepting US players, opposite to most of its biggest competitors in the industry. Rival Gaming entered the business quite late and their software is good, though it is not fantastic and it is still struggling to acquire a broader market share.

Cannot Be Played Online. Rival software is only available for download and does not offer a web version.
Range of Games. Rival Gaming only offers 67 games which is a very low compared to its competitors and considering that their software is downloadable.
Graphics. Even though I have mentioned Rival's graphics as a highlight, I must also add that this refers only to the newest games. In their latest additions the graphics are great, clear and neat; however, in some of their oldest games the graphics can look quite old and dull, especially the spin animations.
Rival - Personal Opinion
If one word was to define Rival Gaming for me it would be innovation. Starting with a great anti-fraud system Rival has proven to be real rivals for already established firms in the online gaming market. Despite being a relatively new company, Rival Gaming's software can already compete with all the giants in the industry. Their software is fresh and original and definitely worth trying out. Actually, I think Rival has a lot less downsides than its competitors and in game technology they are way ahead of the rest; the I-Slots are genious and I cannot even think about what they will come up with next. Rival clearly seems like a promising company that will do great, innovative things.
